All nurses need to be empowered to recognize and quickly respond to signs of human trafficking in practice. Dr. Francine Bono-Neri, PhD, RN, APRN, PNP, co-founder and president of Nurses United Against Human Trafficking, will share valuable insights about how to best prepare the next generation of nurses based on her work as an academic nurse educator, health policy advocate, and nurse researcher. Her hopes are to raise awareness and increase knowledge of Human Trafficking in all nurses, with her goal of starting robust education on this topic, beginning in undergraduate studies.
